Nexus Global Company Event!

For the past three years we’ve had the honor of working with the wonderful team at Nexus Global to plan their annual company celebration! After each event, we’ve said …“How can this event get any better?” And then we always seem to come up with something! This year’s event was nothing short of perfection! We enlisted the help of many wonderful vendors to create the best Caribbean-themed party of the year!

In keeping with the Nexus Global tradition, guests had no clue what to expect. All they knew was that once again the event was going to be held in the Triangle area, this time at the beautiful Angus Barn Pavilion. Their invitations held just a little hint of what was to come. When guests checked into their hotel, they were welcomed with another tiny hint of the theme. They were handed three custom made cookies by Southern Sugar Bakery…a pineapple, a pink flower, and a palm tree!

Saturday evening finally arrived and guests were picked up from the hotel and transported to the Angus Barn. The Pavilion was totally transformed into a festive tropical scene! Watered Garden filled the space with bright and colorful florals on every table. They even hollowed out lemons and used them as votive candle holders, just to add another pop of color! ThemeWorks, Get Lit, and CE Rental provided props, lighting, and the perfect linens and chairs to continue the Caribbean theme.

This year we even stepped up the entertainment! Sensory Expression had the dance floor packed with their steel drum music. In case there was anyone not on the dance floor, we also had Kevin Milz’s photobooth with by far one of the best backdrops! Cigar Row was there too, enlightening guests on how to properly roll a cigar! Of course, just like in years past we had one main attraction. This year, Elevate’s dancers put on a very interactive and thrilling tribal dance. The dance started with a shimmering ballerina bird who floated across the dance floor. Following the ballerina, a group of dancers dressed in tribal gear from head to toe took the floor and everyone got caught up in the show. To wrap up the night, we had Island Sound DJ turn up the music as guests danced the night away!
