March of Brides

Last month we were asked to be part of such a fun and exciting event celebrating all brides! 40 lucky engaged girls were picked to compete in Diamonds Direct – Crabtree’s March of Brides Event! Over 10 vendors from the Raleigh area pitched in to create fun games for the brides to compete in and win prizes. Check out the images below to see a few of the in action shots Three Little Birds Studio captured!

Edible Art did a wonderful job displaying beautiful cakes and of course providing delicious cupcakes for the brides to eat!

What is more fitting than have the girls do a ring toss for a chance to win a gift card to Diamonds Direct?

Practice makes perfect čÖé English Garden provided beautiful bouquets for each of the girls to throw!┬áScored on the distance of their throw, each girl heaved their bouquets as far as they could in hopes of receiving enough points to take first place!

Probably┬áthe most difficult game was one where the bride’s had to recreate an updo styled by The Junction Salon and Bar. Teasing, twisting, braiding … these girls were focused trying to quickly create this unique and intricate hair style!

At Three Little Birds station, the girls were on a photo hunt to find the difference between the two sets of invitations!

Of course our favorite (and most entertaining!) station was our very own! After alphabetizing escort cards, the girls were then asked to grab 5 gifts and race down and back to the finish line! If they dropped any of the boxes they had to turn around and start again! This started heating up when one of the girls jumped over a few fallen boxes to guarantee a win.

The final stage of the competition surely was SWEET! Lining up on either side of a long table, the girls were faced with four deliciously large cupcakes from Edible Art Bakery. At the sound of the bell, they raced to eat as many of the cupcakes as possible within the allotted time! Their friends and family cheered them on from the sidelines and it was a blast to watch!
