Chuck and Andy's Umstead Wedding

Chuck and Andy were married this past May in an elegant and romantic ceremony at the Umstead Hotel and Spa. Chuck and Andy's wedding day centered around celebrating their love for each other and their friends and family. People flew in from all over the country to celebrate with these two and we decided to throw one heck of a party. Cocktails were offered in the lounge pre-ceremony for guests upon arrival. A pianist and cellist greeted guests down on the ceremony lawn with contemporary music. Andy walked down the aisle with his three children and Chuck walked down with his mom and sister. The ceremony was officiated by two of their very close friends, Bonnie and Donna, and they did an amazing job of adding the perfect amount of laughter, warmth, and personality to the ceremony. Guests found themselves both laughing and crying within a short period of time. At the end of the ceremony, Chuck and Andy were pronounced "Husbands for Life" and then it was time to party!

As guests entered the reception, they were offered French 75 cocktails and greeted by piano music played on a grand piano. Beautiful florals that were the perfect mixed of greenery, white and colorful blooms flanked the space and black patterned linens added a masculine touch to the space. A memorable moment of the night was when Chuck surprised Andy (and all the guests) with custom cookies designed to look like Chuck and Andy. These cookies were served alongside the wedding cake. The dance floor was packed the entire night and guests went crazy when we handed out light up tambourines.

Chuck and Andy were an amazing couple to work with and their love and laughter throughout the planning of the event made it so much fun for our team as well. Thank you guys for trusting us with such an important day... your love is refreshing and heart-warming!
